The flop is 6-4-2. This means no flush is possible. However, it does not mean the ace of the straight flush is not high. This is called the Royal Flush.
When there are multiple people tied for the highest card, a high card breaks the tie. The high card is also used when no one has a pair.
When there are multiple pairs, the second pair wins. When two fours of the same rank, the highest outside four of a kind wins.
