What is Entertaiment?

Entertaiment

Entertaiment is a broad category of human activities that involve a sense of enjoyment. It can encompass anything from a single person selecting and watching private entertainment such as movies or TV shows, to a large scale banquet accompanied by music, dance and other forms of performance intended for a public audience. It can also include ceremonial or religious festivals and other activities with a more serious purpose, such as education, social interaction, or the creation of art or satire. The word is often abbreviated entmt. on fliers or in industry news publications where space is limited. Entertaiment is an important part of child development and a significant aspect of children’s learning (9).
